SCS6078 PERSPECTIVES ON DIGITAL SOCIETY ASSESSMENT 2 Annotated bibliography

Annotated bibliography (80% of the final mark)

Word Length: 2,000 words (+/-10%), excluding references

You need to create an annotated bibliography. The topic of the bibliography
should be the same topic that you chose for your assignment to be submitted for
SCS6107 Researching Society (Research Proposal). Your annotated bibliography
needs to include an Introduction (around 300 words) as well as six academic
entries (each around 250-275 words, including the reference itself). In
Introduction, you should define the topic as well as summarise the works listed in
your bibliography. In each entry, you should provide a correct reference to a
relevant academic work (e.g. academic journal article or academic book), briefly
describe the work and present its main argument. You should also offer your
evaluation of the work. An example of an annotated bibliography is one of the
key readings in Week 4, ‘Digital divide’, by P. A. Chow-White et al. (2018). Here
you can find additional information and tips about writing an annotated
bibliography: https://bit.ly/2EGzcDv. While providing references, follow the
Harvard style of referencing
(see: https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/library/idlt/referencing).
